Bioland Energy is seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to join our growing team, engaged in both local and international transactions. Based at our head office in Aradippou, Larnaca, we are looking for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 5 years in the legal field to support our diverse legal needs.

Main Duties:

• Legal Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful analysis on various matters.

• Expert Advice: Offer legal guidance to steer our operations.

• Document Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, opinions, and other legal documents.

• Advising on corporate governance, compliance and legal risks.

• Material Review: Review and ensure the accuracy of legal materials.

• Dispute Resolution: Develop formalities for resolving disputes and minimizing risks.

• Court Preparation: Brief external lawyers and assist in preparing court documentation.

• Legal Updates: Stay updated on evolving laws and apply them in diverse business contexts.

  
  

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a legal advisory role.

• Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Company Law and Contract Law. Familiarity with Construction Law, Sale of Goods Law, and cross-border transactions, Corporate Governance

• Language Skills: Excellent command of both English and Greek, written and oral.

• Drafting Excellence: Exceptional drafting and communication skills in both languages.

• Pressure Handling: Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Time Management: Strong organizational and self-discipline skills.

• Flexibility: Adaptable with a flexible approach to work.

• Analytical thinking and Risk Management: Ability to analyse complex issues and provide legal guidance.  Proactive identification of legal risks and mitigation strategies. Must be solutions based.

• Attention to detail and strong judgment

• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and offer cross-departmental support, external advisors, and government bodies.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with sound judgment for decision-making.
