As an IT Assistant at Bioland Energy Ltd., you'll work alongside our IT Manager to maintain and enhance our tech infrastructure. You'll ensure our systems and applications run seamlessly, troubleshoot issues, and support our team to keep our business operations smooth and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Tech Guru: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
Support Specialist: Provide top-notch technical support to end-users for all hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Problem Solver: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including network connectivity hiccups.
System Guardian: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks for peak performance.
User Management: Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Policy Enforcer: Assist in implementing and upholding IT policies and procedures.
Tech Enthusiast: Stay updated with the latest technology advancements and recommend improvements.
Proactive Protector: Identify and resolve potential tech issues before they become problems.
Project Partner: Collaborate with the IT Manager on technology projects.
License Manager: Help manage software and hardware licenses.
Inventory Keeper: Maintain an organized inventory of all IT equipment and supplies.
AV Support: Provide support for audio/visual equipment during meetings and events.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Know-How: Experience or knowledge in computer systems, networks, and software troubleshooting is a plus.
Software Skills: Proficient with Windows, Office 365, and Teams.
Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, and network devices.
App Expertise: Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
Analytical Mind: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communication Pro: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Security Savvy: Knowledge of data backup and security procedures.
