Bioland Energy Ltd, a Cyprus-based company operating in the field of renewable energy, due to its growth and expansion, requires the services of a new appointment in its Headquarters in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Organizational Post: Software Systems Administrator
The primary function of the post will be the maintenance and technical support of the company’s software systems (Billing, Licensing, Asset Management, Electricity Market Operations System, Control Center, Operations & Maintenance).
Requirements:
The applicant should have:
Degree in Electrical Engineering with Software experience OR
Degree in Computer Science with IT software development experience (experience in Electrical Engineering will be considered an advantage)
Knowledge of the electricity industry and the electricity market.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the use of SQL, preferably MS SQL.
Experience in Business Analysis and Contract Management.
Understanding of Information Security Issues.
Excellent use of the English and Greek Languages, both orally and verbally.
Reasoning, analytical ability, critical thinking, problem-solving operational excellence.
Oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
End-user support.
Coordination and implementation of the integration software systems as well as the implementation of associated testing strategy.
Installation, set-up and configuration of systems and ancillary products (e.g. MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
Training of end-users (managers, systems administrators and operational staff_
Development of reports, dashboards, KPI and SQL Scripts.
Communication with Software System Developers for problem-solving.
Reporting on all Software Application Systems’ Health.
