Licensed Solar PV Electrician

Bioland Energy Ltd, one of Cyprus' leading renewable energy companies, based in Larnaca, is seeking Licensed Solar PV Electricians to join its Installation Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and connect photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

• Carry out electrical installation works for the construction, commissioning, and energisation of utility-scale solar parks.

• Install electrical distribution boards, inverters, cabling, and other electrical equipment associated with PV systems.

• Perform electrical inspections, testing, commissioning, and system verification.

• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and system malfunctions.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic installations.

• Ensure full compliance with the Company's Health & Safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• Work closely with Engineers, Site Supervisors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  
  

Essential Qualifications

• Valid Electrical Installation Licence issued by the Electromechanical Services (EMS) of Cyprus, authorising the installation and contracting of internal electrical installations.

• Previous experience in electrical installations and/or electrical infrastructure projects.

• Good understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and low-voltage electrical systems.

• Valid Category B driving licence.

• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.

• Willingness to travel to project sites across Cyprus. (manual driving license)

  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience with residential, commercial, and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) installations.

• Experience installing, configuring, and commissioning inverters such as Huawei, SolarEdge, or equivalent manufacturers.

  
  

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with travel to construction sites and customer premises across Cyprus.

• Occasional work outside normal business hours and/or weekends may be required depending on project requirements.
